Peak into our mornings

This was a nice lazy sunday morning. We were a bit hung over and tired from the dinner the night before, but having the boys 'help' wake us up is always a fabulous treat!!

Night out with the Cousins

Check out how fast the kids are growing up.  Kevyan getting into the action while the 'big boys' get a special tv treat and the daddy's put babies to bed.  It is so nice having some family around here!  

First Grown up Legos

Kai and Ahmad worked on a lego camper van-er together.  They spread out the build (as so it was fun for a 2.5yr old's attention span).  Kai loved it, he looked forward to helping Daddy put all the pieces together!  Ahmad brought this home for Kai as a present from his Europe trip last week!  Lucky boy!

Who Likes Restaurants?

We do!  Kai and Fin are great champs... it may mean our standard of going out has downgraded to kid friendly places but its added a whole new level of fun!

Counting Pumpkins

We had the week to ourselves and that meant finding time to go grocery shopping.  We enlisted Kai's help.  He first wanted to push his own cart but we could not find the kiddie carts in this store... so we got him a basket.  Next he was fascinated with all the pumpkins... he had to count ALL OF THEM!  I also learned he now can count to 20!  I spared you all the photos of counting pumpkins as he did literally touch every single one on every single island.  Ahmad was slightly annoyed, I found it hilarious.

School Celebrities!

After morning drop off I noticed some familiar looking kids.  Here Fin made the blue house mainboard and Kai and his bff (Lucas) made a canvas print in the entrance way!

Weekend Fun

This weekend we had the kids to ourselves.  I know sounds funny huh... we gave Nonnie some time off... I think its suppose to be the other way around.  Anyhow, we had a lot of fun.  First it was playing in the local park (even Fin is getting more and more into the action).  Then we had lunch at Delfina's (one of our favorite spots pre-kids).  Kai is so well behaved, he ordered his food, used a napkin and then got a special treat of ice cream!

I am loving each new phase with these kiddos.

Ahmad had a business trip to Europe and boy did the kids miss their big playmate!

School is exhausting!  I say no wonder, one is suppose to take naps during the day.

Sushi Family Night

 Ahmad and I are getting more and more adventurous taking the kids out.  I have a bag of tricks to keep Kai entertained and well, as long as Fin has food he is pretty happy.

This weekend we went to Sushi Sams.  It is a new favorite of ours and it is as good as any place we have been to in the city.  Unfortunately, Ahmad normally orders a massive order so we keep to going here to once a month.

Brew Tour

Fin enjoyed lunch with us at the local brewery.  The place was not set up AT ALL for kids.  humf... can not imagine why not?
