Soccer and Swings

Kai started a soccer class this weekend.  Its a Daddy and me class and he was a super star.  Fin and I tagged along and enjoyed the swings!

Special Visit with Mommy at Work

I picked up Kai at school today and took him to the Gelato place on campus.  We then rode the shuttle around work before going to pick up daddy and Fin.  It was so special for me and Kai loved the ice cream!

Making Pizzas

We made pizzas as a family tonight.  It was fun, we bought all the ingredient and Kai was such a great helper.  Ahmad cooked them on the grill!

Hair Cut

I am not the full time hair dresser... I think I did a pretty good job on Kai's hair cut and I also get more control keeping it a tad longer!

Big Boy Swim Lessons

Kai started Big Boy Swim lessons!  Thank goodness this now means I don't have to get into a swimsuit each week!  He is doing amazing, a kicker, blowing bubbles, back floating!  Yes!

It was so much fun to take Kai to daddy's office - get him some hot chocolate and let him loose!  He loved it!

LIke Father Like Son

Ahmad has been busy the last few nights, so I have been hanging out with the kids alone.  It was amazing tonight as I notice Kai smoothing out his blanket on the floor.  I quickly snapped this photo... the reason it was so special... Ahmad when he was young use to do the same thing, over and over again... how crazy?  Amazing how your genes will carry on and present themselves in any small act!

Crab Hunting

Okay, so Kai can not stop asking to go back to Hawaii... and frankly who can blame him, it was spectacular!  So, what is the closest thing we have here... Fitzgerald Marine Reserve!  Fun times by all. 

Super Heros

Its adorable, Kai is getting into wearing costumes now.. I love it.  Here he is flexing his batman skills!

Not again

Fin has now had two surgeries cancelled... and this week really was a doozie... the survival kit includes Apple Sauce and snuggles!

All Grown Up

This is our little eater, he goes on non-stop!  He also insists on feeding himself!

New Year Adventures

We had such a special time with the boys over this holiday break!  Fin became so much more mobile and I started up our exercise program.  Kai even joined with a mile run... that is right... he impressed all the runners out there with us as he kept up with mommy for a full MILE!
