Love this place, its great we got the chance to take the kids there over the Christmas break.  Lucky for us it was open while daycare was closed and we were off work!!

Christmas 2014 - Stop 5 (DC)

Our final stop was in DC, we had the chance to catch up with Ahmad's high school friends and children and send the last days with Manijeh.  Then we were off... The flight home was more eventful and we are staying put for a while.  Fin got sick right after take off, it was so rough that flight attendants were giving us free drinks.

Yes, Ahmad passed out while we had two crazy kids in the seat next to us!

Christmas 2014

Its Christmas and what better way to spend it than with family.  Kai fed the reindeer and santa and yes, yes that is an adult size superman pj set you see here!

Christmas 2014 - Stop 3 (Bee Keeper)

What a great visit the kids had with Uncle Tom and Aunt Winnie.  Kai showed off his train conductor skills and building blocks.  Fin snuggled up to the puppy and we all got to see the bee's Uncle Tom is raising!  We miss you Uncle Tom and Aunt Winnie (if you are reading this... thank you!)

Christmas 2014 - Stop 2 (Hershey!)

We had the best time at Mim and Pops.  All the Rakows were able to make it by to see the kids and catch up.  It was so very special.  Kai and Fin also had a few days to bond and make memories.  We even got to go to Hershey's Chocolate World!

Christmas 2014 - Stop 1 (The Demlers!)

 Our first stop was in Washington Crossing, PA with Uncle Fred and Aunt Linda.  It is always such a great time catching up and having fun.  Kai loved the train set and played conductor for three days straight.  He also bonded with Uncle Fred and Penny (aka Rat Dog)!

Fin got into the action and really fell in love with Roxy, in fact they curled up together after a massive sushi dinner.

And we landed with so much help!  It was a long trip.... Kai was great, Fin was 'fun' but being not so mobile and less interested in just sitting he made us work for it!  But GAME ON East Coast / GAME ON!

SFO Departure

Check out all the fun we can have in the SFO airport.  It was a really early flight that worked out well for us.  Ahmad and I could not believe how long it has been since we last have flown out of SFO domestic airport terminal that we were not aware of the new art installations!  The kids though took full advantage!

Nighttime rituals

We have some night time rituals.  Fin goes to bed so smoothly, we say night night, take him upstairs, change, sometimes bath, wrap him up and put him down.  He wakes and says night night.

Kai is a little more of a gamer but typically he likes one story, a bedtime song and then a few minutes of cuddle time (with mommy)!  Its great!

Texts - Joys of Parenthood

Here was our exchange over text, I saved it because it made me laugh.  Fin was being checked out for a bladder infection and Ahmad went to get antibiotics with Kai in Walgreens.  I think neither case was the best case!

Trusting Uncles

It was kinda hilarious, Uncle Chris tried for two weeks to get Fin okay with Uncle Chris holding him.  In walks Aunt Holly and it took her two days.

Hawaii

So, you got to see some of our adventures and fun in Hawaii but here is a little further wrap up!  Kai still asks to go back so, we will for sure need to plan another trip... soon?
