Memorial Day weekend

Picnicing is Kai's new favorite. For memorial weekend we hit the food the grid food party at the presidio and enjoyed the warm weather.  Ahmad bought almost one of everything offered, of course!  Kai had his first ice cream cone and Fin and I just enjoyed the company!

Farmers Market

We are back to attending the regular Farmers Market on Saturdays.  It's a lot of fun and right now super exciting with all the delicious fruit and veggies.  We have a standard plan of eating our wY to the food truck serving Kai's favorite pork sandwhich.  Then picking up the big stuff (10lb bag or oranges and box of strawberries) for smoothie making.

Lunching

We lunched with Nonnie today. A decidant afternoon overlooking the water and waves while enjoying one of the last days before mommy goes back to work

Snail in my garden

It is days like today I think how much I will look back when Kai is older and miss him so!

After a long, late dinner party night it was anyone's guess how his temperament would be today.  This afternoon after his nap he had applesauce and "ice cream" with me.  Then together we cleaned up the backyard flowers.  It was here we found a snail!  Kai brought the snail in the house to show Daddy and then back to the yard so he could find his family.  We told Kai the snail said thank you and Kai was besides himself for helping the snail. He then went off to help Daddy plant a garden.  He talked and instructed every movement and was just a pure helpful delight.  He came in to kiss Fin.  

We love you boys!  Thank you for everything and for all the joy!

Growing up- happy 3mths birthday

Mothers Day

This year I was really into Mothers Day.  I think it was a celebration of two amazing children and some due to the craziness our life has ensued for the last 3 months. Anyhow, today could not have been more prefect... Morning breakfast, private time on the patio enjoying coffee, mess and clean up help, lunch at the bench and my two boys loving each other (hand holding as they napped in the car)!
